It is disarray which symptoms are dark places on the skin, caused by large amount of melanin, which is the skin’s dark pigment. The melanin disarrays are caused from sun exposure, some diseases, aging, pregnancy or trauma, which leads to appearing brown spots on the skin.
There are 2 kinds of factors that can cause hyperpigmentation: external and internal. The external factors are those that are surrounding us in the environment, like sun exposure or chemicals (betaxolol, minocycline, estrogen, progesterone, etc.). The internal factors could be inbred. The people with darker skin have more risk of evolving this disarray.
Specks, age-spots and stains from the sun are result of the dangerous ultraviolet rays of the sun, which are damaging the melanin and causing a transient or continuous discoloration. These stains can appear on any part of the body that has been exposed on the sun, but you will notice them often on the face or the hands.
Discoloration can be caused from the scars from trauma or some surgery. The dark spots will remain even after the problem is gone.

The melasma is hyperpigmentation of the skin that appears during pregnancy, but sometimes it could occur to men. It is known also as a mask of pregnancy, because the brown spots are manifested on the face-very often at the nose and the cheeks. The brown spots are going away when the pregnancy is over.
Natural treatment for hyperpigmentation-the recipe:
  1. Use 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  3. Mix it well
  4. Put it on the affected place
  5. Wait 15 minutes until it is dry
  6. Wash away with cold water
You mustn’t expose the skin on the sun at once after the treatment!
Do the treatment before showering.
Until you have clear results, continue this treatment once or twice a day.
It is quite simple remedy which is based on the principles of Ayurveda-the ancient Indian science of healing.
The lemon will brighten your skin and will cause skin peeling. The turmeric is effective in lightening the skin and also has anti-inflammatory characteristics and will make the skin glanced.
If your skin is too sensitive substitute the lemon juice with milk, or rarefy the juice with a little bit water.
