The most common deficiencies are lack of vitamin A, D or E, as well as biotic deficiency. They usually manifest through different symptoms, including flaky skin, inflammation, bruises, sores on the mouth corners, acne and skin rashes as well.

Here’s how your body tells you that you lack certain vitamins:
  • If your hair is weaker than before and looks dull, you’re suffering from vitamin B deficiency. To resolve the problem, add spinach and asparagus in your diet;
  • If you have sores on the corners of your mouth, you are lacking vitamin B12. To raise the levels of this nutrient, eat red meat and poultry more often;
